Colorado!!

We raced across country stopping only for gas, sleep and delicious tacos in Dallas, TX. Other than that, we were ready to be in Colorado. It was a haul but the boys did awesome and Daddy did great navigating the truck through rain, wind and traffic!!! We raced to Colorado trying to bet the storm blowing in and we made it just in time!!

Somewhere in the middle of somewhere between Florida and Colorado. Daddy drove this over stuffed truck and towed a car the whole way!

I think I see mountains!!

Yep! And it's snowing!!! Quite a difference from Florida weather.
We landed in Colorado Springs during an early May snow storm. Before the main storm hit, we had time to get our truck unpacked into two pods for storage. Talk about a no fun, freezing, miserable chore.
Filling the pods.

Emptying the truck!

These two troopers were AWESOME. They spent many hours bundled up in and out of the car while we worked long days to get things unloaded.

Then the snow really hit.

But in Colorado fashion, it melted and the sun came out so we could finish our job.

Look at that! What a HUGE RELIEF!!

Can you believe it took two FULL pods to fit all that was in that one truck!!
This is what happens after a three day trip and two days of unloading stuff!!!
Lucas going crazy...

Axel not too far behind his older brother.
We finally had some free time!
Getting reacquainted with dear friends...Bekila and Etta.
Uncle Mark held a slide show at Bent Gate in Golden, CO so we went to cheer him on.

We also had to see Grandma & Grandpa J for some delicious ice cream and dinner.

So nice to be back "home!"
Mommy's birthday came quickly so we had a little celebration with tasty cake Daddy found.

It was perfect!

We had to go check out the new house. It was coming along but we still had a good 6 weeks or so until we could move in. Love those views!!!

We really enjoyed going to some of our favorite local parks...Red Rocks and Garden of the Gods! So much to do right here in town. We are going to love living here!!
Skipping rocks at Red Rocks with no fear of alligators eating us.

Bouldering and climbing at Garden of the Gods
 .

Favorite!!

COLORADO! The Anderson's are Back!!!

Axel got a little bored looking at new fridges so he took it upon himself to keep busy!

Lucas

Great job!

You too Axel...

You're doing great!!
Daddy had a work day up near Woodland Park, CO so the boys and I decided to hit The Donut Mill for HUGE donuts and sherbet for Axel who was under the weather.

HUGE!!

Hanging tough!
Oh, we saw our first bear too. Right on the US Air Force Academy near the gas station. He ran across the street and straight for the food bin....I mean , trash can. Kind of sad that he was so young and so well trained on getting people food but it was cool to see him.

Trouble!
